BLUSH HILL MEADOWS
Apartments
ABOUT
This is the first multi family project in Vermont that does not have any fossil fuel for a heating source.
The building is constructed to Efficiency Vermont standards for high performance certification.
Rent is $2,200 per month including electricity for units approximately 1000 square feet.
The exterior walls are insulated with 2” of dense closed cell foam and 3 1/2” of fiberglass insulation, called a flash and batt system. The attic has roughly 18” of blown in cellulose to achieve an R-60 insulating value.
Special attention has been taken to sound proof each unit. Between the ceilings and the floors there is 10” of fiberglass insulation. The party walls have a partical board, 7” of insulation, and two layers of 5/8” sheet rock separating them. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms have “coretec” wood laminate flooring for extra quietness, and there is carpeting in the bedrooms on top of a sound proof pad.
Each unit has two full bathrooms, with air step evolution vinyl flooring installed over an ultra ply pad, a bedroom and either a second bedroom or a den. They each have a deck or patio.
The units on the east side of the building have spectacular views of the Worcester mountain range, and witness beautiful sunrises.
All units are non-smoking.

For safety, the building is equipped with sprinkler system designed to Vermont’s Division of Safety codes, and the 2 entry doors into the building are equipped with a code handle.
Pets are welcome for an additional fee and separate agreement.
Access into the site is via a circular drive that will allow tenants to circumvent the construction area of future buildings, while entering and exiting the premises.
